Review By Phil Keaggy:

I happened upon Pekar Music Co because after a walk on the trails, my wife, her sister and I decided to have a Stricklands ice cream (our favorite) and I noticed Pekar Music right next door.

I needed strings and Michael Pekar was very personal. We spoke for a number of minutes and got talking about guitars and basses. He showed me his special guitar collection and I also noticed his basses.

A burgandy Hofner bass caught my eye and after playing it, I bought it. I had recently given my Gibson G3 to my son who is the bassist in the rock band HCR. The bass arrived here at my home just in time for me to put the bass parts on 5 of my new songs for my new Christmas CD (Welcome Inn) which will be released in a couple of weeks.

Thanks Michael for the great and reliable service. All the best with the music school too!
