Founded in 1998 by Michael Pekar since it's original guitar specialty shop on Portage Trail, the store now features a widened inventory to meet the needs of family and community. Pekar's retail plan supports American owned CD's and products and supports locally owned companies and jobs. The new location has expanded its products and services by adding locally owned distributors, a local teaching staff and local service technicians. The owner, A.K.A. "Mighty Mike" is personally very proud of the store's sponsored musicians which he has personally equipped and promoted with their music careers.
